Day 3

Juliette and pups are thriving.  The pups are gaining weight, all weigh at least 1 lb, their umbilical cords have fallen off, and they are starting to get darker pigment on their noses and foot pads.  Juliette is ravenous, producing lots of milk, and keeping her brood well cared for and clean.  This morning, I swapped out the small puppy pool for the large pool.  Juli appreciates the extra room to stretch out, and the pups are already expert scoochers so I am not concerned about pups getting lost and chilled.  This afternoon, I started BioSensor early neurological stimulation exercises which will continue daily until the pups are 16 days old.  More info at:  http://breedingbetterdogs.com/pdfFiles/articles/early_neurological_stimulation_en.pdf
